A short, power-hike climb in Virginia. The hardest 500 metres average 18.8% and start 621 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. South-facing, so it bakes in summer: go early. Most runners need 13 to 22 minutes. At 2.6 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. It is graded demanding mountain hiking: expect sections where you watch every step.
