A power-hike climb in Colorado. The hardest 500 metres average 20.0% and start 1.2 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early. Most runners need 21 to 36 minutes. At 4.3 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. It is graded difficult alpine hiking, which is climbing terrain rather than a running route.
