Four Mile

A long, power-hike climb in Idaho. The hardest 500 metres average 24.5% and start 1.5 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing southwest, it takes the afternoon heat and melts out early in the year. Most runners need 50 to 84 minutes. At 9.5 TEP it is harder than 78% of the climbs in the catalogue. Mostly on gravel and farm tracks.
