Cottonwood Lake Trail

A long, mostly runnable climb in Montana. The hardest 500 metres average 23.6% and start 4.4 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early. Most runners need 58 to 96 minutes. At 3.5 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue.
