Tour du Duffre
A short, very steep climb above La Piarre in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. The hardest 500 metres average 23.6% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 11 to 18 minutes. At 3.6 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. South-facing, so it is hot in summer and one of the first to clear of snow. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care. The nearest named summit, Montagne de Laups Duffre at 1,757 m, is 761 m away.
