Boulder Creek Lakes Trail

A long, mostly runnable climb in California. The hardest 500 metres average 18.3% and start 4.5 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. South-facing, so it is hot in summer and one of the first to clear of snow. Most runners need 82 to 138 minutes. At 3.5 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
