Schlossweg

A short, very steep climb above Wolfisberg in Bern. The hardest 500 metres average 24.3% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 9 to 14 minutes. At 2.8 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. East-facing, so it takes the morning sun and is in shade by the afternoon. It is graded demanding alpine hiking: exposed scrambling, where a fall would be serious.
