Chatauqua Peak Walk
A long, mostly runnable climb above Halls Gap in Victoria. The hardest 500 metres average 19.6% and start 2.6 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. It faces south and gets hot in summer, so an early start helps. Most runners need 54 to 91 minutes. Its 2.5 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded as a hiking trail, so fitness matters more than footing.
