This long, run-hike climb rises above Aussois in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Expect 39 to 65 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 27.4% and start 4.3 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. It faces south: warm in summer, and often clear of snow when the slopes around it are not. With 3.9 TEP it lands near the middle of the catalogue.
