Salacina
Salacina is a short, very steep climb above Maloja in Graubünden. At 5.5 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. Its steepest 500 metres run at 27.4% and start 482 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Most runners need 14 to 24 minutes. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care. Southeast-facing, so it takes the morning sun and clears of snow earlier in spring.
