Arapaho Glacier Trail

A power-hike climb in Colorado. The hardest 500 metres average 18.9% and start 1.3 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. West-facing: shaded in the morning, in the sun through the afternoon. Most runners need 26 to 44 minutes. At 6.0 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
