Fairbrother Loop Walk

A short, very steep climb above Whakatāne in Bay of Plenty. The hardest 500 metres average 28.1% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 8 to 14 minutes. Its 3.5 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. It faces north and stays shaded: a good pick for a hot day. Mostly on gravel and farm tracks.
