Chemin des Cartier
Chemin des Cartier is a short, power-hike climb above Saint-François-Longchamp in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The path is graded easy hiking: the effort is in your lungs, not your footing. Its steepest 500 metres run at 17.9% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. At 2.1 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. Expect 11 to 18 minutes. South-facing, so it is hot in summer and one of the first to clear of snow.
