Gold Hill Trail #64

This long, run-hike climb rises in New Mexico. Expect 45 to 75 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 16.9% and start 4.4 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. Southeast-facing, so it takes the morning sun and clears of snow earlier in spring. At 3.7 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
