Southwest Butte Trail

A short, power-hike climb in Idaho. The hardest 500 metres average 20.3% and start 600 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. North-facing, so it holds shade and snow longer than the sunny side of the valley. Most runners need 11 to 18 minutes. At 2.6 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. Mostly on trail.
