South Fork Timber Creek Trail

A power-hike climb in Nevada. The hardest 500 metres average 18.7% and start 464 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. North-facing, so it holds shade and snow longer than the sunny side of the valley. Most runners need 23 to 38 minutes. At 4.1 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. The path is graded easy hiking: the effort is in your lungs, not your footing.
