Great Western Trail - Fish Creek Section

A mostly runnable climb in Utah. The hardest 500 metres average 17.6% and start 2.0 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing northeast, it loses the sun before midday and keeps its snow into spring. Most runners need 36 to 61 minutes. Its 2.5 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
