Sverrestien

Sverrestien is a short, power-hike climb above Samnanger in Vestland. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care. Its steepest 500 metres run at 21.6% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. At 2.7 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. Expect 10 to 18 minutes. The nearest named summit, Gullfjelltoppen at 987 m, is 649 m away. South-facing, so it bakes in summer: go early.
