Chemin des Martenesses

A short, power-hike climb above Euseigne in Valais. The hardest 500 metres average 22.8% and start 782 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing northeast, it loses the sun before midday and keeps its snow into spring. Most runners need 15 to 26 minutes. Its 3.5 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Mostly on paved road.
