Abbott Lake Trail

A power-hike climb in California. The hardest 500 metres average 20.8% and start 1.9 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. It faces south: warm in summer, and often clear of snow when the slopes around it are not. Most runners need 32 to 54 minutes. With 5.5 TEP it lands near the middle of the catalogue. Mostly on trail.
