Jackass Pass Alt
A short, power-hike climb in Wyoming. The hardest 500 metres average 23.0% and start 497 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. North-facing, so it holds shade and snow longer than the sunny side of the valley. Most runners need 12 to 21 minutes. At 3.5 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. The path is graded easy hiking: the effort is in your lungs, not your footing.
