Aeschgasse

A power-hike climb above Steg im Tösstal in Zürich. The hardest 500 metres average 21.4% and start 656 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. It faces south and gets hot in summer, so an early start helps. Most runners need 18 to 30 minutes. Its 3.1 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded as a hiking trail, so fitness matters more than footing.
