PR 70 Boucle de la Balmette

A long, mostly runnable climb above Les Angles in Occitanie. The hardest 500 metres average 14.8% and start 2.6 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. East-facing, so it takes the morning sun and is in shade by the afternoon. Most runners need 54 to 90 minutes. At 2.1 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
