Loowit Falls Trail
A short, power-hike climb in Washington. The hardest 500 metres average 18.1% and start 574 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. It faces north: the shady side, where snow stays longest. Most runners need 14 to 23 minutes. Its 2.5 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded as a hiking trail, so fitness matters more than footing.
