Zentralalpenweg

A short, power-hike climb above Mathon in Tirol. The hardest 500 metres average 21.5% and start 324 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing southwest, it takes the afternoon heat and melts out early in the year. Most runners need 8 to 14 minutes. Its 2.3 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
