Gaislachalm

A short, very steep climb above Zwieselstein in Tirol. The hardest 500 metres average 27.9% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 12 to 20 minutes. At 5.5 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. East-facing, so it takes the morning sun and is in shade by the afternoon. The path is graded easy hiking: the effort is in your lungs, not your footing.
