A short, power-hike climb in Arizona. The hardest 500 metres average 22.5% and start 490 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early. Most runners need 13 to 22 minutes. At 3.0 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue.
