Tierney Creek Trail
A short, power-hike climb in Nevada. The hardest 500 metres average 17.1% and start 458 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early. Most runners need 13 to 22 minutes. At 2.2 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. Mostly on trail.
