Bearfort Ridge Trail
A short, very steep climb above Upper Greenwood Lake in New Jersey. The hardest 500 metres average 24.4% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 9 to 15 minutes. Its 2.6 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. It faces south and gets hot in summer, so an early start helps. Mostly on trail.
