South Pine Creek Trail

This very steep climb rises in Colorado. Expect 26 to 44 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 33.9% and start 1.8 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. North-facing, so it holds shade and snow longer than the sunny side of the valley. At 8.0 TEP it is harder than 72% of the climbs in the catalogue. It is graded alpine hiking, with exposed rock where you may need your hands.
