Camí de la Fontcalda
A long, mostly runnable climb above Gandesa in Catalunya. The hardest 500 metres average 20.4% and start 1.6 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing southwest, it gets the full heat of the afternoon. Most runners need 50 to 84 minutes. Its 2.4 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
