Route du Mont-Brun
A power-hike climb above Chamoille (Sembrancher) in Valais. The hardest 500 metres average 18.9% and start 546 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. North-facing, so it holds shade and snow longer than the sunny side of the valley. Most runners need 17 to 28 minutes. At 3.0 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
