Frenchman Creek Trail

A run-hike climb in Colorado. The hardest 500 metres average 14.5% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 26 to 43 minutes. Its 2.4 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Facing northeast, it loses the sun before midday and keeps its snow into spring. Graded alpine hiking: exposed, rocky ground that needs sure feet and some use of the hands.
