Whitefish Divide Trail

A short, very steep climb in Montana. The hardest 500 metres average 23.0% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 13 to 22 minutes. With 4.6 TEP it lands near the middle of the catalogue. It faces south: warm in summer, and often clear of snow when the slopes around it are not. Mostly on trail. The nearest named summit, Mount Locke at 2,198 m, is 471 m away.
