Aspen Trail

A power-hike climb in New Mexico. The hardest 500 metres average 18.8% and start 1.7 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. North-facing, so it holds shade and snow longer than the sunny side of the valley. Most runners need 34 to 57 minutes. At 7.0 TEP it is harder than 66% of the climbs in the catalogue. Mostly on gravel and farm tracks.
