A long, power-hike climb above Engelberg in Obwalden. The hardest 500 metres average 24.6% and start 1.1 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. South-facing, so it is hot in summer and one of the first to clear of snow. Most runners need 57 to 96 minutes. At 12.0 TEP it is harder than 84% of the climbs in the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
