Chemin-Neuf
A short, very steep climb above Cheyres in Fribourg. The hardest 500 metres average 24.9% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 10 to 17 minutes. Its 3.4 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Facing northwest, it stays cool until late in the day. Graded as a hiking trail, so fitness matters more than footing.
