Bard Creek Trail

A long, mostly runnable climb in Colorado. The hardest 500 metres average 16.6% and start 3.1 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Northeast-facing: morning sun only, and snow lingers into spring. Most runners need 51 to 84 minutes. At 3.1 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
