Grade Creek Road

This long, run-hike climb rises in Washington. Expect 60 to 100 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 13.0% and start 4.7 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. South-facing, so it is hot in summer and one of the first to clear of snow. At 4.9 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. Mostly on gravel and farm tracks.
