Schofield Pass Ski

A long, mostly runnable climb in Colorado. The hardest 500 metres average 13.4% and start 1.8 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southeast-facing, so it takes the morning sun and clears of snow earlier in spring. Most runners need 43 to 73 minutes. At 2.3 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
