Phillips Pass Trail

This run-hike climb rises in Wyoming. Expect 28 to 47 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 21.1% and start 3.1 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early. At 2.5 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. It is graded demanding mountain hiking: expect sections where you watch every step.
