Chemin de la Lenta

A power-hike climb above Bonneval-sur-Arc in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The hardest 500 metres average 27.1% and start 1.6 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early. Most runners need 35 to 60 minutes. At 8.5 TEP it is harder than 74% of the climbs in the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
