Cascade Creek Trail
A long, mostly runnable climb in Colorado. The hardest 500 metres average 16.9% and start 5.2 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing northwest, it stays cool and keeps its snow late into spring. Most runners need 66 to 111 minutes. Its 2.3 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
