Schwändiweg

A short, very steep climb above Goldau in Schwyz. The hardest 500 metres average 22.3% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 18 to 30 minutes. At 6.0 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. Southeast-facing, so it takes the morning sun and clears of snow earlier in spring. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
