Divide Trail (36)

Divide Trail (36) is a short, power-hike climb in New Mexico. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care. Its steepest 500 metres run at 20.1% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. At 2.1 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. Expect 8 to 14 minutes. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early.
