Black Mountain West Trail
A power-hike climb in Colorado. The hardest 500 metres average 18.1% and start 1.6 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing southwest, it takes the afternoon heat and melts out early in the year. Most runners need 25 to 42 minutes. With 4.3 TEP it lands near the middle of the catalogue. Mostly on trail.
