This long, run-hike climb rises above Lincoln in New Hampshire. Expect 56 to 94 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 23.3% and start 5.8 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. It faces south: warm in summer, and often clear of snow when the slopes around it are not. At 9.0 TEP it is harder than 76% of the climbs in the catalogue. Graded alpine hiking: exposed, rocky ground that needs sure feet and some use of the hands.
