Highline Trail

Highline Trail is a mostly runnable climb in Colorado. Its 2.3 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Expect 34 to 57 minutes. Its steepest 500 metres run at 15.6% and start 4.2 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. Graded alpine hiking: exposed, rocky ground that needs sure feet and some use of the hands. Facing northeast, it loses the sun before midday and keeps its snow into spring.
