A long, mostly runnable climb above Peru in Vermont. The hardest 500 metres average 16.1% and start 3.5 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing southwest, it gets the full heat of the afternoon. Most runners need 39 to 65 minutes. Its 2.8 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
