A short, power-hike climb above Big Sur Village in California. The hardest 500 metres average 18.9% and start 379 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. North-facing, so it stays in shade and is the cooler choice on a hot day. Most runners need 11 to 18 minutes. At 2.5 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue.
